Introduced in 1969, the Triumph TR6 featured a restyled body by Karmann and the 6 cylinder engine from the TR5/250. Production of the model stopped in 1976 with 94,619 units having been built. Although an all new TR7 had been introduced, a true replacement in the form of the TR8 was yet to be introduced so for many Triumph enthusiasts, the "TR" love story that began with chapter "2" ended with chapter "6".
